Your mother was a snow blower

I don't know where my manual is because I'm in the process of moving. Does anyone know when a 1997 honda accord should have the timing belt changed? I'm pushing it I think, I'm at the 65,000 mark.

I'm not positive, but I always thought it was to be changed every 30k. You might call a local honda service place and ask them to be sure.

Evert 60K is the tarket. Its ok to go earlier but you shouldn't let it go much past.

By the way, if anyone else has maintenence questions, I found out that http://www.edmunds.com/ has services schedules for almost every car made.

That's odd. I wonder why it's different between the Owners Manual, and the Hayne's? Sooner is better than later I guess.

The differnce is some of you are quoting miles and some of you are quoting kiliometers.

Its 90,000km or 60,000 miles.
