Re: BMW i8
Beautiful job, and very nice videos of the process. I'm having an issue with Gravity paints that you may be able to advise me on. The paint is drying too quickly out of the airbrush. My tip get clogged during spraying and the finish, both primer and color, is far from smooth. I use a single action Paasche and have tried various pressures and needle adjustments.
In your video, the paint appears to go on "wet" and then quickly dry. It seems that my paint is almost dry when it hits the model. Maybe a temperature and/or humidity issue? I spray in a Florida garage when temperature is in the 80's and the humidity is about 50%. Also, you didn't reference sanding in your videos between primer and color coats. Was your primer coat smooth enough where you didn't have to sand? Any suggestions you have would be appreciated. Chuck |

Re: BMW i8
I think this has something to do with the temperature. In my country its about 18 degrees celcius, Room temp would be 20/22 degrees celcius.
The primer was so smooth it did not need sanding.
