BMW i8

The WIP: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1143927

Overall a very nice kit to build, The doors did not fit at all, I would reccomend to just glue them shut. A couple small dents(sink holes) needed to be filled in and smoothed out.
The mirrors also did not fit well with the way revell wanted to mount them, so i cut their tabs off drilled some holes inserted a pin e voila!

The Kit wheels where rubbish as usual!

Thank god for Plamoz!

Its is by no means my best, Though i did try a lot of new things and gave Gravity colors a go aswell.

Awesome, and the Plamoz wheels look so much better. Where were the sinkholes?

Fromt and rear fenders plus some low spots on the doors

Re: BMW i8

Beautiful result, great choice of color scheme.

BVC500: I have detected these two sinks on the body. There are also some more minor sinks in other places.

Re: BMW i8

Thanks guys, that helps save some time identifying them!

I just got mine the other day. I'm planning on doing a similar color scheme, except I'm using BMW's Blue Water for the exterior, a favorite color of mine which is usually featured on their hybrid sedan and SUV models.

The paints work really well. Though if you can get your hands on zero paints i don't see a reason to switch.
