how do U say? DOHC/SOHC

a couple years ago, some ppl on SHO were disputing on calling the DOHC/SOHC motor DOCK & SOCK. i dunno about ya'll but i call it TWINcam or Dual/Single Cam motor. is this new, west coast car talk? becuz i don't know anybody who calls an OHV motor an OH-VEE engine.

I'd never thought to try and pronounce "DOHC." "Dual" or "twin" are fine and they mean the same... (right? :huh: )

stupid people who Don't know what a cam is.



I've only heard DOHC pronounced like "dock" once.. Nikki calls it that. I just say "D-O-H-C", or "Dual overhead cam". I like hearing myself talk.
