My Van just failed smog check from comprehensive visual inspection and functional check . and i took my Van to technical they help me to fix the engine light but my van had oil leaking underneath so will that be another problem that will failed again even i fix my engine Light because the Engine light used to stay on while driving but just burn out when i go smog check and it said ODB system check Failed and Other emission component Fail . i need some advice before i go retest .Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Bring your van to a mechanic whom you trust. Get a recommendation from a co-worker or relative. Tell them to diagnose your engine and repair the failed part causing the check-engine light to come on.

they checked the engine light for the code said relate it to catalytic converter but my VIR said my catalytic converter test passed i am so confusing .
