Model trims etc

My mom is going to get me a weekend toy at the end of this yr, and I have narrowed my choice down to a mid 90's Acura Nsx na or a Nissan Skyline R33. Now my question is, I know there are some various models of the Skyline, like GTR and VSpec and such or whatever, but yeah. Do all Skylines come w/ AWD system?, and do they all come with the RB26DETT? Just kinda give me a small conclusion on what each model has going for its self. I dont care if you post it out your self or direct me to a website, just any help will be appreciated. Thanks alot guys/gals. [Edit] By the way, what would be the best bang for the buck at around 37K to spend, I plan on modding it out, and the AWD is a must for me, Thanks.

If you need AWD, get a GTR or V-spec because they were the only models come in all wheel drive.

Thanks, Sounds good to me then. Hopefully they will release the V35 GTR or whatever they are gonna call it around the end of the yr, because I would be interested in that as long as it doesnt look anything like the Concept pics.

Ok first the GTR is the only Skyline with the RB26DETT motor in it factory. There are a lot of different model skylines but lets start with the R32 as honesly i can't be bothered typing them all in.

R32
GXi RWD, CA18
GTE RWD RB20E
GTS RWD RB20DE
GTS25 RWD RB25DE
GTS-t RWD RB20DET
GTS4 4WD RB20DET
GTR 4WD RB26DETT

R33
GTS RWD RB20E
GTS25 RWD RB25DE
GTS25t RWD RB25DET
GTS4 4WD RB25DE
GTR 4WD RB26DETT

R34
GTS RWD RB20DE
GT RWD RB25DE
GTT RWD RB25DET
GTR 4WD RB26DETT

Living in the States your stuck with RBMotoring or MotoRex. You're not going to get much for 37K if you are able to get an R33 GTR. You're better off with the R32 and have a bit left over to spend on mods.

For $37K, you won't have much left over for mods even if you get a R32... RB Motoring currently doesn't have any skylines in stock and Motorex only has one R32 GTR... Don't know why they're asking $80K for the R33, must be something special about it since R33's usually go for around $50K...

80k for an R33?

It had better have a bundle of goodies for sure! The prices for them have been droping in Japan like a stone. As an example 3 years ago the R33's were on average $65K NZD (halve that for USD), and I am seeing pretty standard ones listing here now for mid to high $40's.

I quick reminder that we are no required to do any converting or updating when the cars come in. About the only things would be replace worn brakes, shocks, and bushes.
