the most times stripped

what is the most number of times you have had to strip down a model due to a stuff up in the paint or a bad color choice?

mine so far is having the 350Z 'swimming' 3 times due to the above factors

anyone been in a similar position and how did it come out in the end?

Funny you should mention a 350Z, because that is exactly the kit that is giving me the fits. Ive striped it 2 times now. (crossing fingers) Ive started working on it again and hope to be done soon....

Sofar, I 've never had to strip a model, and I m proud of it...
it does happen I fuck up a bit by poishing too much through the paint, but then I simply wash it and put a thin coat over it and voila ?

I always end up redoing my old models that I made when I didn't have as much skill in modeling. I think some of my cars have been stripped 6 or 7 times to the point that the plastic became brittle and crazed.

when I mess it up, I strip it once. Then I try to understand why it went wrong and try not to repeat the error a second time. When it's dust particals, I just sand and respray. I just hate stripping and it's the very last solution that I'll do.

3 times already for the C-West FD3S i'm building.. first time i bought some dulux spray paint and the paint turns into a mess when i try to polish it..
then stripped the paint, repaint using a different colour (duplicolor this time) ... and the paint ended up peel off like wallpaper! then repaint again using the same colour and it still peels off (but to a less extent)!!!

must be something wrong with the primer i'm using but then i've used the same spray can doing the Mugen Beat and it has no such problem i'll wait a while so i can regain the interest and repaint it again..

My Midnight Purple Skyline R33 has been done 4 times now, for one reason or another.
But it's finally OK

I have an Accord wagon that has been stripped 4 times so far. My SAS Nismo R-34 was stripped 3 times before I decided on a color on it.

one time so far on my prelude and it's been a pain. I haven't touch the car since. I painted it mica red but when i took the tape off the indow trim it pull some of the paint so i had to start all over again. I think I might go with gunmetal this time around.

Only 2 for me, it was my 69 Camaro pro-stock. First it was the color, second because it got a little messed up. Haven't painted it yet.
