1/12 scale Porsche 956 milling project
Hi,

Sorry but i have to cancel this project. There are massive problems with the designer and the printing. So i must bring it to an end before it has began. Sorry! Regards Christian

Hey guys,
i will restart this Porsche project now. Its not a 3D print,its a milling job now. Here is a pic from the 3d-model so far.  Now its not a 962,its a 956 that i want to do. This is the start for a handmade car with less detail than before.But i will made this for sure. Thats for now. regards

Hi,
some news to show here. The data was scaled down to 1/12.Than we created a CAD file for the milling machine.  Than we removed every part that is not possible to mill. So they are the wiper,mirrors and the rear wing.The wing will be made in another step.  We created a small groove where the wing can be put in.Dont know how to say in english? Some parts were closed and on the bottom we made some wheel adjustments for later.   Here is the blank material for the milling machine. Thats the first step.When we converted the files to CNC ,everything can start. regards Christian

I am nearly sure I've seen years ago a 956/962 in 1/12 in resin in ebay. No idea of the manifacturer, but was a great beast.

Yes Paolo,there was some years ago a curbside Porsche. On hapico.com got lots of pics I think it was from California Model somewhat? But long out of production and not available anymore. regards Christian
