I just have a flowmaster 40 series muffler and a custom Air Box modification that was developed on TacomaTerritory.com. It has shown dyno at 6-8 rwhp.

I figure the muffler adds about 3-4 hp, maybe.

TRD Headers are next, 14-16 hp!

Well, from what I hear about Tacoma's is that they're pretty torquey. I've driven a friend's Si with i/h/cc/e/i/c/bk/e/TSWrwp/g (that's intake, header, catalytic converter, exhaust, igniton, cams, body kit, eibachs, 17" TSW revos with Proxes FZ4's, and guages) and it has such torque problems (but wonderful top end). Hate to say it, but my hypothetical money is on the truck. I'd say take out your passenger and rear seats just before the race to increase your weight advantage. hahaha.

aaahhh chris, don't worry about it. but the fact that it's a truck really doesn't make that much of a difference, now being a 4x4(that adds some weight but not much).

trust me, you should win, you just can't screw up. you've only got about a 1 second window(0-60).

now if you do get beat and wanna sell your car, you can always go get the Tacoma S-Runner. 0-60 is 7.2 on that bad boy. Then you could also get the TRD SC added(75hp), TRD headers(15hp), and the TRD exhaust(5-10hp) and watch that baby FLY!!!(if you can keep the tires from wanting to smoke off the rims!!!! All that would be under warranty too!!!! All for around $24k!!!!

lol chris you'll win you have a 2 second window on him not 1 he runs probably 9.5 1/4 and i'd say you run about a 7.3 1/4 but you can't miss shift The tacoma is light but its not that light Well i guess who ever losses will get this from me :finger:

huh????? What the heck you mean by "1/4"???? IF you talking 0-60 then sorry, you be wrong. A Double Cab(4door) automatic will run 0-60 in 9.5. I can prolly break the 8.5 mark in my truck, being just the xtra cab and being a 5 spd with slight mod's!!
