tacoma vs. tacoma

I have a white 2.7 98 tacoma trd sr5 tacoma with downey header, catco catalytic converter, ravin muffler, 33" mudders, 3 inches of suspension lift w/ kyb shocks in the front and skyjackers in the rear. It also has 118,000 miles on it and runs great. With that said, i have a friend with a black 3.4 98 tacoma trd sr5 with K&N cold air intake, venom control module, dual outlet flowmaster, 6" trailmaster lift, 1.25' shackles, Northwest coil over springs, 33" mudders with 16X10 Mickey T. wheels, but also has 163,000 miles. The truck runs great and just had a new clutch installed. It doesn't have any oil leaks or mechanical problems either. My friend is currently selling his truck and just for the heck of it i offered him an even trade, my truck for his, and he actually accepted the offer. I think the deal is awesome but 163,000 miles is a lot even though it is a yota. The main thing i am worried about is resale value down the road. What would you guys do in this situation and why? Sorry if I sound crazy, but i just like to think things through before i jump into them.

Re: tacoma vs. tacoma

Resale values go down on most any vehicle with over 100k. Check Edmunds or some other price guide to find out how much.
