Exclamation Problem with my Caprice

Ok I own a 1995 Caprice and ounce and a few times it just shuts off. So we had it jump started and it started working fine. But the battery is pretty new so I dont know why it keeps shuting off. Butthe battery feels loose and I can move it around alot. SO anyone help me out here.

Does it do it after you drive for awhile, you lose all battery power, starter will not turn over, let it sit and then it starts no problem. If that is the case your fuse box under the hood where the main battery feed is bolted is overheating and melting. There is a GM bullentin on this problem.

Yeah I had this same problem on 95 Caprice Station Wag.
It was a holiday weekend. Couldn't find anything suitable at the parts store.

I ended up epoxying the piece together with alot of epoxy putty and glue. Put a couple new nuts on the post. The old one had worked itself
loose, causing sparking and the melting of the plastic housing near the post.

This happen July 2002.. it appears to be holding up..so far.

But I'm curious about what the GM bulletin says (original prob;solutions)

Re: Problem with my Caprice

does the GM bulletin also apply to the 91-93 caprice also?I haven't had trouble like that yet, But I'd like to avoid it.
