im 17 right now and i have been working with a private home contractor since last summer.....we finisheda basement,deck,livingroom, and a shed and a few other things...i learned alot and i don't mind getting $9.50 hr....because im also learning things that will help me later in life.

let me see...


Installed central heating system
Built deck and carshed
built cinder block barbeque with stainless steel worktop and fish cleaning table
paved the patio area
Replaced 2 piles and levelled the house
Demolished an internal wall and rewired/lined the 'guy shed'
built 12' square play castle
built 8'square playhouse
built 1/5 scale steam locomotive[wooden]
currently looking at building a deck and pergola at stream boundary

.....yeah,I dabble.

Up until I moved to Colorado in 1995 my father designed and built all of out houses, of course he had sub contractors to help. He got the lumber cheap sine he managed a bulding materials center in Ogden. Since I was old enough to I helped in building those houses. Even on our recent homes we have done a lot of the work and planning.
