Re: Knock knock anyone home
Hi. My uncle had a Fiat 131 Mirafiori and at one time there were many Lada cars here in Jamaica that were Russian-built copies of the 124. The way to make a Lada reliable was to replace the factory components with Fiat 124 parts (or swap in an engine from an pre-1981 English Ford Escort).
In particular, I am a fan of the Fiat X-1/9 (except for the goofy model designation...), but I seem to be the only person who ever posted in the X-1/9 forum here... |

Re: Knock knock anyone home
I had a 1973 124 spider when I was in school. Have been thinking of trying to find another one soon to goof off in. Anuone familiar with engine swaps with these cars? I'd be looking for @double the hp/tq of the stock car.
