Talking I Feel The Need For More Power

OK here we go........I have a 2000 maxIma and i really want to smoke out these retarded ricers, that think they can beat anyone, at my school. Now i cant do it w/ just the base VQ. I need to add some serious power. Now im thinkin: CAI, Full Exhaust, Turbo, headers, etc. So what im asking is if you could help me w/ finding all these parts and such [espicially the turbo] thanx alot. LONG LIVE THE MAXIMA!!

you probably won't need all that shit to smoke them kids unless they have some sick cars or you drive and automatic, but get a y pipe from www.budgetexhaust.com and an intake. that'll give you a good edge. then go with the mid pipes and muffler. i don't know of any headers for a 5th gen maxima that are worth getting. i had a stillen(www.stillen.com) exhaust on my 95 and i liked it a lot but it was $$$ around $680 plus shipping and install. i had a weapon-r intake but a lot of people seem to be going with frankencar or something else www.weapon-r.com or just so you know i've had 2 nissans prior to this car and they all had weapon-R's on them, i really like them.

a turbo won't be easy to get or accomodate(you'll have to relocate your battery to the trunk most likely) and there's not much of a chance you're car will be street legal with one, but try www.turbomaxima.com

What kind of cars do they have? there arent many riceers that the 200 Max cant handle. Even with an auto it should kill integras, Civics arent even a threat, altimas of course will be beatten pretty easily, accords should be a problem unless its the V6 version.

Would it just be better if i went with a S/C from stillen instead of trying to find a turbo and getting someone to install it?

i don't know about better, but it'd definitely be easier. superchargers make good gains but it'll hurt your gas mileage. you'd probably be happier with the turbo's performance and the fact that it'll improve your gas mileage. i don't think the S/S kit on a 5th gen is legal, but if they don't emissions test where you live, then don't worry

i like turbo's more than s/c's (and a turbo max is pretty rare) but it's all just preference. if you don't mind tinkering a bit get the turbo. i think the stillen Supercharger kit would be more reliable cuz Stillens a good name when it comes to nissan parts and it's a vortech s/c in the kit they put together.

either way you'd have one fast fuckin car

no, my friend got suckered on one of those for his neon. they were really made to help reduce lag in cars with large turbo's. my friends car got a little boost-ish feeling out of it but i wouldn't go around saying his car's supercharged

wait for the turbo kit from custommaxima...it's coming pretty oon turbo's are better than s/c in my opinion too. btw, those electric superchargers are bullshit, don't waste your money. turbo+headers+ecu+intake/exhaust, and you will be flying
