I need a new rear window for my 82 Camaro

I need a new rear window for my 82 camaro. My dad said that they dont make tem and more and i can't find one. Is this true?. If it isn't how much would i cost to get a new window and to get it tinted.

If you don't have the Rear Heated Backglass option you can still buy one from GM Part number 20197331

If you have Rear Heated Backglass option, then it has been discontinued from GM.

I made a few calls to some of the Glass Co's we use and they were able to locate them in either Heated or Non heated.

best bet would be to check out a local junk yard to see what you can find, and window tinting shouldnt be too much..

go through a junk yard, I had to replace a window in my aspire and I kept being quoted a price of 220 to 320 for a quarter glass, called the junk yard and got it for 40 bucks. It cost me another 20 for the glue/tar for installation.

Bet that piece of glass is pretty common to them, most glass places will install it somewhat cheap if you already have the glass, I was quoted 75 for mine if I already had the window. But it might be more expensive for you with it being the rear glass.
