i was wondering if anyone could help me out. i have a 93 camaro with a 3.4 in it. the car was stolen and the people that stole it ran from the police and really messed my car up. i dont have the money to get it fixed and don't really have the extra money for a new car. i on the other hand can get a good deal on a wrecked z28 and was wondering what all i would need to do to put the motor from the z28 into my car. as far as would i need to change out all the wiring for the computer and gauge cluster, if the radiator would need to be changed, the rear end and all that. i plan to change out the motor computer and the complete drivetrain. so if you could be of some help feel free to email me at [email protected] thanks

Fortunately GM wiring is fairly consistent through all their cars. While the ECU would need to be changed , as well as the fuel pump , and tons of minor details , it should be doable. The suspension and the steering rack is different on those cars , you'll need to swap the Z28 parts in also. Should be plenty of websites with these types of conversions , do a Google search.

how bad a shape is the Z-28, is it salvagable? If the chassy isn't bent and the car wasn't rolled, you might be better off just putting the money and time in the Z-28.
