They came in Grand Prixs...
That is, I'm looking for a 3.4 DOHC and was wondering if any one had one laying around, or just knows where to get one. Thanks for any help.

Why?
We had a '95 Grand Prix GT with the 3.4L DOHC V6 (also came in the Chevy Lumina Z34's) and it got without a doubt THE WORST FUEL ECONOMY of all time. Beware. |

They have much better power output than my 2.8L. Yet they are much lighter than a 3.8L, and as far as I know you can build them to have a very high rev range. Fuel economy is not one of my concerns. I need more power and relativily the same weight

Ahhh, why don't you do what my buddy Winston did and drop a bloody LT1 V8 in there!!! - you won't have to give a damn about weight!!!!!!!!

I've thought about that but I don't want the shift in weight distribution. I'd like to get the aluminum SBC block that GMPP makes but they want $3600+ for it. I know going to a V-8 will make up for the weight gain but not the weight being added to the rear.
