Hello everyone!
Several years ago I bought a white metal kitt of a Mercedes-Benz 150H roadster from Western Models on eBay and now it's finally the time to build it! I have never built such a kitt (did built several plastic kitts) and, ofcourse, it has to become perfect!! I already removed the paint and I am planning to paint it red just like the one at the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart. Can I use Tamiya's acrylic paint for it? Any tips are welcome! Thanks!

im not sure about white metal, but ive heard that on most normal diecast kits, you should use, self-etching primer and then i think you can use an normal paint on top. HTH a little

I used Game Work shop white primer, and Gunze metal surface primer for my metal kits, but kind of expensive.
I will try automotive body primer for my next metal kit, I am sure it will work also!
