ANyway to make my 90 crx dx do better on MPG?

i get like 29-30 mpg which is ok i would of expected better mpg after all i think the HF get slike 40-45. I know the power with speed is not there which is ok for me i use my crx to go to work and back thats it. any tricks to get more mpg?

if your car is stick, id say shift it earlier and dont speed around anywhere, make sure your tires are properly inflated, and everything is aligned right in your suspension.

get a tuneup and make sure that you replace your old tired o2 sensor with a nice new one.

more air in tires
new air filter
shift lower
don't rev so high
take out some weight
lose weight from the belly
ditch your friends(it's jsut weight)

its an automatic and suspension is bad bad shocks

since its an auto the best thing you can do is make sure everything is working and not push the car to fast. I drive a hilly freeway and ive tried my best to see how much of a diffrence drive 70, 75, and 80 my entire tank would be ... which isnt a big diffrence but i went from 27-28 @ 80MPH to about 34 @ 70mph ... i chill at 75 and get about 32 MPG now which is kewl with me.

I wouldnt worry about shocks persay cause thats just bumpy riding ... but if you alignment is off then take care of that. Other then that routine maintance and care is all you can do.
