so they got an rb26 in there... i had no doubt it couldn't be done, but the pic i'm waiting for is the one where i see smoke coming from all 4 wheels. converting it to all wheel drive would be the hard part IMO.

Nobody was hating in here.They meant that it couldn't be done without custom modifications being done to it to fit in a LHD 240.

Now show us some pics from under the car to see if its all stock downthere.

This ones for Night7, Cameron the car above in the pics is my car that Ive been telling you about. I have taken it to the track and ran 12.3 @118 mph one leggin it pretty bad but the motors bone stock so what should I expect. If you hear of any RB26DETT LHD monsters like mine on the street please let me know.

man, you really need to settle down. nobody was being a hater. i had simply never seen photos of a car that had the swap done without modification. that doesn't mean i'm hating on you or saying it couldn't be done, so settle down and stop being such a friggin' whiner.

As a moderator you should be setting an example for others especially noobies of how to keep a open mind, instead it seems like you constantly contradict yourself with what you said and what you didnt say. I'm the moderator of the perfromance section of the Legend forums so i have quite a bit of experience. i simply stated it had been done without removing or altering anything from stock engine form, instead i get these replies from you:

Haters was commented torwards other individuals that were shooting their mouth off...ghost, without even giving me a chance to show pics. My introduction post was competley + it was the ensuing replies from others that escalated the thread.


Now dont throw me the line that I'm attacking the moderator, it could of been a simple "lets see the photo evidence" and all would of been fine, instead people start throwing insults because they feel a noobie that doesnt even drive a 240 is more informed than the people that do.

why would you have the hassle of converting the TT into T? wouldnt it be easier just to sell the RB26DETT and buy a RB25DET? I think those Twin turbos are still in there. Pics will help, but im assuming that your smart and didnt take out the secondary Turbine since you DID install a rb26dett in a rps13.

What i wana know, is hows the clearance? that engine looks really sqeezed in there.

THIS, ALL OF THIS, is EXACTLY why the other RB26DETT thread was closed. as soon as pics proving everyone wrong were posted up, i KNEW everyone was going to take sides and the name-calling would ensue. well, look what's happened.

i agree that most of you were out of line in your original comments towards these guys, but that gives none of you the right to start the flaming up again.

Dv8 - how the hell was i contradicting myself? i said in that reply that "i have yet to see it." that does NOT mean it can't be done, or that it hasn't been done. it simply means that in every case i've SEEN, it had been altered in some way. i've HEARD of this car and other like it, but these are the first pictures i have actually SEEN, so that belief is what my post was based on. you posted the pictures, i now see the car. big fucking deal. just because i'm a moderator, it doesn't mean i'm a counsellor for a bunch of 5 year old kids. all the members on this site are grown adults, and think for themselves. SO DO I! they're not on leashes, and i'm not going to tell them what to say, nor am i going to try to "set an example" of what they should and shouldn't think.

i'm closing this thread now.
