Re: 1/4 Mile Times?

Not a chance cks316, a SC'd L67 in a Bonneville or a GTP needs a ton of mods to run 13's in the quarter. The Aurora is not capable of running 13's.

HIGH 14's with intake, exhaust, bored out and enlarged 80mm TB and stock Autobahn and maybe you will see 14's @95+ mph.

Stock Aurora with Autobahn with do 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and the 1/4 in high 15's

Re: 1/4 Mile Times?

I have seen a lot of GTP guys get bent out of shape over 1/4 mile times. You're bang on about the car being quick, and if I could get 13's out of my Aurora, it would definitely be the fastest production Aurora out there

*cough*Turbo*cough lol!

I think that these cars are powered as a perfect minimum.. There is nothing worse then stepping on a gas peddle and not going faster...

The site noted below has a review of the 2001 Aurora 4.0
and quotes a 1/4 mile of 15.1 secs @ 94.4 mph.

Re: 1/4 Mile Times?

The 2001+ model 4.0 Aurora is definitely faster then the classic, its lighter and stiffer.

15.1 is still damn good, mid 15's for the classic (stock) is good.

Re: 1/4 Mile Times?

I'm not sure why you guys are getting your doors blown but my stock 98 autobahn, 45,000 at the time (K&N, V rated Mich, 105+ OB, power mode, Mobil 1, ice bag on intake at stage, engine temp at light 160, outside temp 52, track temp 64, traction control off, location NHRA Atlanta) ripped a 14.87ET 5.01 light, 14.97ET 5.07 light, 15.13ET 5.22 light, 15.37ET 5.31 light. (Timeslips don't lie) Dealing with these Nitrous Honda's, GPZ's, and RWD SS Impala's really teaches one how to cut a good light.
