smacked by a mustang tire.....no really it hit my window.

Ok so I'm cruising down 15 to my friend guggan's when all of a sudden I see a mustang emerge to the left of me red 97ish with SVT stickers all over the fucking place, big ass window sticker. He pulls up beside me and gives me rev happy hello. I threw a rev back and then he takes off like a bullet, I decided to run with him dowshifted and gained highway. Just as I started to slowly get a nose on him *right at that moment where his passenger side wheel was across from my window* I noticed his wheel wobbleing, all of a sudden his wheel flys off and breaks my window. Ok now I'm In a ditch a car length b/f a bridge, and BTW I'm so pissed at ford and I try to open my door but its stuck. So I kick it and the door opens when I get out I look over the car and pretty much all that happened was the wheel broke my window *luckily* and now the door sticks. I look up the road to see the mustang pulled off to the side of the road and this guy walking towards me from the car, first thing he says to me "are you ok dude" first thing I say "buy a camaro". So pretty much he's paying for my damages and thats the end of that story, hopefully he heeds my words.

FORD backwards stands for Driver Returns On Foot....Girlfriend thought of that one. She drives a 2003 Chevy Blazer and I drive a 1965 FOrd Falcon.

Thats pretty funny really. And your saying at High interstate speeds the mustang didnt wreck and flip when his tire popped off?
Sorry sounds a little phoney.

Is this from personal experience? Contrary to what you see in the movies cars usually don't flip when they lose a wheel its more of a swerve of the road uncontrolably and hit a gard rail deal. I have no idea what he fucked up on his car I know his front bumper was chewed up and he was in the median which is grass. Furthermore I could give a shit about his shit box, his wheel fucked up my car and I'm not happy about it.

experience. You loose a wheel at a high rate of speed your going into a spin and ususaly off the road. Hit something right and your flipping. Story sounds a little unlikely. Suprised your car could survive a hit form a mustang tire

Story sounds fairly likely to me. And i have seen cars that tires come off and they as long as no other cars are around they are typically ok. They just swirve out of control really bad
94: Your just pissed cause you know Mustangs are built shitty for the most part.

Whatever floats your boat. I have had four mustangs since I was sixteen, the only problem I had was with head gaskets on a 95 v6, but a recall took care of that for me. I have many, many problems on my 91 civic though, the hardware is crap, the engines about to fly apart and for the second time the driveshafts are going out. REally all brands have their issues from time to time. And this story really illustrates the quality of the mustang tire, just the tire gots enough power to squash an import.

about 130k on the civic, but that is comparable to my other mustangs and they did not have problems. 89 mustang lx, had 90k when I got it 150k when sold, 95 v6 had 68k whenI got it 145k when sold, 65 mustang coupe, no telling how many miles it had and right know my 94 cobra has 86k on it.
and since when did honda make all the parts on the civic? Yet I dont try and distingiush between each manufactuer of each part, if its on the car we call it that brand. So I call the wheel ford, if they made it or not, I dont know.
