Ran a new best time tonight.

Whew! I was at our track tonight (it's only 1000ft long) and I ran an 11.9! My 1st 11! That was on a 50 shot, couldn't find my 80 shot jet. I also raced a WRX than romped me pretty good off the line thanks to my no good clutch but I chased him down! You hear that? I chased down a WRX. Turbo. A turbo WRX. In a 2.5TS. That's a non turbo. Chasing down a WRX. Turbo.

Sorry, I'm excited.

only a 1000ft?

add on the rest of the 320ft to make it a standing quarter... and you should be around 12.1-3.

12.1? My guess is a mid 13, though it was running down that WRX pretty hard on the top end so maybe a low 13, at least if I could find the 80 shot jet and get a new clutch. I could find out for sure if there was a 1/4 track in arkansas, but noooo.

I need more torque, more power, less weight, better suspension, etc...

Yeah more torque would prolly help you off the line. Did the WRX have any mods done or any NOS??

I love torque. It really makes me feel like I'm going faster than I actually am.. hahaha... And theres nothing like cruising up a hill in 5th gear going like 45mph at 1300rpm Thats 300 lb/ft for ya, baby.

What was your mph at the 1000'? That is indicative of the rwhp you were putting down and along with your race weight can provide a better estimate of your potential ET at the end of the 1/4. For comparisons sake, the last time I went to the track, I spun badly off the line and got a 2.425 60'; 11.891 1000'; 14.126 1/4 @ 100.69. If the 50 shot was giving you better than a 11.99(lbs/rwhp) power to weight ratio you'd see a better 1/4 ET than that.
