computer help...saving images from web sites

i used to be able to save the images in the same format as they were on the web site...like save a jpg as a jpg...but now i can only save as a bitmap most of the time. which obviously takes up a lot more of my hard drive. im fed up of having to open each image that i save and then converting it back to jpg.

can anyone help me sort this out...its getting kind of iritating

When you right click the image and select "save as" just select the File type at the bottom where it says save as type.

If the picture's small enough you could always just hit your print screen button, and paste it in photoshop or any other program. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to save a pic in IE.

A tad off subject, simdel1 u should paint that car model
maybe one of these colors, unless u like silver.

yea, i would do that...but it takes too long if im saving like 20 or 30 images

on the subject of the model: thanx, but the reason i didnt paint it was because when i built it about 6 years ago ( i was 12 back then) i didnt know how to spray paint...so the only choices i had to do the body was to paint it by brush, or leave it. i realsised it would look shit if i brush painted t, so i left it.

the red does look good, but id probably still paint it silver if ever i feel like doing it again
