Angry The Track Is Gay

NEVER NEVER NEVER go to the track to time your stock car bc peopl eare going to hand you your ass over and over and over again.

I go to the track my mom shows up bitchen about me race the car stock. but saign the paper and let me race to me she was going to stay and watch to see if I fuck up anything. This is my first time at the track so I am like me what do I do (street racer and street racing is better) I go up to do the first race and see I have to race a damn v8 race car with slicks and the guy is wear a helmet. I was thinkin this is gay he is going to kick my ass in front of my mom and my boys from the race who came to make fun of me. anyway light turns green the fuck car car off the ground and made me feel like I bitch I want to go home in car and he ran a 12.307 at 107.392 and I ran 17.241 at 80.312

I got better as the night goes on raced v8s the whole time gay shit

My best run of the night was 17.010 at 80.822 with a rt of 0.070
Never go to the track v8 hang there and it is super super super gay

Hahah, well at least you got some timing runs in. And that was the point of the trip, right? Right! So don't get so down on the track. The track is GREAT!

the track is a GREAT place to go. jus cuz u don't get to pick on ricers (which is all ur gonna be able to do w/ a 17 second car, no offense, but its tru), an u get to see some tru enthusiasts.

goin to the track an seeing those V8's running 11's, 10's an 9's made me have a lot more respect for those guys. its one thing to hear a turbo on an I4 spool up an blow (which is one of the greatest sounds ever btw), but its a whole nother world when u hear those guys w/ full out race cams making the ground shake.

sorry, but the track is ideal

Hey man, you've just got to find a track you like and go at the right time. My first time to a track was last summer and I drove almost 2 hours west to a place called St. Thomas Dragway. Its in a nice little town and there was all kinds of different people there - racing their stock VW's, Integra's, Civic's, F-bodies, Stangs, beat up 50's pickup trucks - some were stock, some were'nt - but on this day with this bunch it really felt like you were racing the guy in the other lane. Fun times.

My second trip to the track this May 2-4 long weekend was an hour from Toronto at Cayuga Dragstrip (Toronto Motorsports Park) - and buddy, my ego didn't even get through the park gates! There were like a hundred competition cars there with their mobile garage trailers 'n shit - even the "normal" street cars were all modified - besides a 15 second Talon I was the slowest car there that day, having to run against 10 second cars! But like I said, on that particular day I checked my ego at the door, and was only trying to beat the clock.

It was a lot of fun though - seeing a silver Z28 sort of like mine thundering down the track to a low 7 sec ET @ 160+ MPH.

LOL its not the track really I like the track wish I could get all the street racers to go. But its the fact they made me race 400+ hp cars over and over and over again.

lol I could have beat them but I was only there for my time not to beat V8s

not really fun when you have to race 400+hp all night kind of hard to push your self if I would have had something to push again me neck and neck I would have ran 15s I bet LOL

I get your point.

You were already dejected before you even took off. It is quite possible that if you were racing something you felt you had a chance of beating, you'd have done better.

Next time, don't think about what's next to you...focus on YOUR run.

Exactly so don't complain about it. Who cares if that big V8 car beat you, thats not the point of going there its to try and get the best time you can with your car. I'm sure there are people out there in the stands making comments like "yeah those imports run like shit" blah blah blah fuck them most of the hick spectators run there mouths about everyone.
