Greatest kill yet

Well the rain here sucks hydroplaning floods plus its 1015pm on friday night most are at home watching TV. I'm out hauling ass in my car. I love rain driving and was out to carve my favorite turns. Got my tunes up defroster kicking and just starting to head home on this long large 2 lane road. I'm watching the light as something pulls up and throws a rev. Without looking over i see the light goes green we take off he flys by me like i'm standing still oh crap i think as he keeps pulling away to fast for me to ID the car but i knew the lines so i was wonder what it was. Well i'm still trying looking at my speddo i'm at 60ish and he stopped gaining cool i think as i am starting 3rd gear. now i look down i'm pulling 80 hes getting closer his brakes come on for some reason unknown to me at the time as the road was clear in both lanes. i'm going still 105 i pass him too quick to tell what the car was. i let off the gas as the light up ahead nears we both stop i look over NO FING WAY I yell to my self as he motions me to roll down my window. It Was a grey S2000!!!! I roll my window down he says to me your a F*cking nut damn your good! wow my first loss in this thing. I nod and say good run. He says i can't belive you can handle that old thing at speeds i got to 90 and quit too scary for me. Its cool i said good run i beat you wow later. The light turned green and he turned away as i drove off with the bigges t smile and somthing else ive ever had.
PS i do write in my free time so thats why it's written how it is instead of normal PPS i know he could have taken me had he kept going so dont bother lol.

Even the greatest car is only as good as the driver. Good kill , grasshopper. I am not afraid to drive fast in the rain either , I'm only afraid of the other idiots , who around here for some strange reason act like they are driving on ice. I love AWD.........

yes, u had some bigger balls then him, but really how did u beat him?

its more jus of a fly-by when someone who OBVIOUSLY won slows down. im not tryin to knock u at all, but i jus don't see how this qualifies as a run.

i see how u'd get ur ego pumped a bit by wut the guy said an all, but that still doesn't seem to be even coming down to driver SKILL. more like driver GUTS.

sounds like good fun however...racing in the rain, always a brilliant idea.

well i don't know about you but a 4 door dx could beat me in the rain, i have a hard time getting good traction in the dry let alone in the rain i'd be in 4th gear goin like 30 mph

yea i understand how you see it as a fly by it kinda was (naughty me) but yea i was hyped up. I do alot of my hard driving in the rain so i'm used to it. It takes time to get good in the rain you never can be as good as in dry but you get close so thats why i say its still (but with any racing guts are invloed.) Also i use dunlop SP sport 901s and there wet traction is insane you can barly tell its wet plus i've hit puddles that were like 4 inch deep and didn't hyrdoplane so i got a him on traction.

I find it hard to believe that you can hit 105 in the rain when you can only hit 115 in the dry.

I've done (guesing spedo only goes to 125) 130-135 maybe in the dry with my max, and I've done 110-115 in the rain... similar to what he's talking about... If you do it right and get traction off the start then it's possible, the max is a cow for the most part so that helps.

Look under his avatar. There is a Nissan Maxima in his vehicle description. Are you really as observant as you would have us beleive in the Eclipse forum?
