people will rave to you to buy a nice t3 turbo and everything and put it together yourself. but there is a lot to it, and a lot of money to go into your car to get it to 300 Hp, and have decent tuning. First off you need a Turbo Exhaust Manifold, a cold air intake or some filter aparatus. to fit the turbo. next you will need to run oil lines from the oil pump to your turbo, then possibly an intercooler if you are running high boost. you will also need a turbo timer, BOV (blow off valve), and a whole slew of other things, Turbos are not cheap, and if you have no experience with turbos I suggest you get a pro to do it, or someone who has installed them before. you will need low compression pistons, and probably need to get the crankshaft balanced, and shot peened. might want to get your valves, and valve springs done as well. the rods will definitly need to be replaced with stronger ones. if you really want to get this done it's going to cost you anywhere from $7,000-10,000 or more depending on what you want, and what tuning you do to the motor. there are a lot of goodies you can add to this as well, but your power gains will be worth it. good luck, and if anyone has anything else to add that I missed, or overlooked, go for it.

I agree, more horse power means more money. If your planning on building a 300hp car, chances are you won't have $10,000 to dump into right away. Personally, I would go with one of the better known kits like Drag or RevHard. That way you get (almost) everything you need for turbocharging your car. A kit is good starting point to build up a high HP car. I suggest doing your homework and installing the kit yourself, but make sure you have somebody standing by for questions. Its the best way to learn. From there you could start adding on and rebuilding as you get the money. Just make sure when you start adding on, you plan ahead. Don't buy parts you won't need later. But thats just my oppinion.
