lowering a s10 4wd blazer

also looking to drop my 91 s10 4wd blazer. what do i need? i see alot of stuff that says "2wd only". but i was also told i could get 2" or 3" lowering springs in the front & blocks for the rear. does this apply to 4wd as well as 2wd?

thanks

Re: lowering a s10 4wd blazer

i got a 89 2wd with a 5in drop with hydros in the front and a 6in drop in the back with 3in lowering blocks if you want something like that your better off finding a 2wd front suspension

Since you have 4wd, you do not have springs. you have torsion bars, they are adjustable. If you want a free drop (I believe around 4"), take out your torsion bar keys and flip them upside down. I saw a guy that did it, it looks nice but i cannot say how the front end parts will hold up or speak for the ride quality.
