My cat got cut up.....
anyways got the cat cut out today and i think it was a well invested mod...... its only slightly louder..... doesnt stink....... and there is more umpf to the engine (the old one was toast)
the only bad think is the slight ricer rattle but its not that bad...

i hardly ever belive the old "the cat was clogged up" line, becuase my car has the stock cat on it, and i was running my d15b2 for a couple thousand miles with it smoking like it was on fire, burning oil, no telling how long the previous owner drove it like that.... I drove the piss out of it when i had my d16z6, and just the other day when i went to swap the engine out, i looked inside the engine side of the cat, it looked brand new. It should probably free upa couple horses, since its a restriction, but i think a high - flow catayltic converter would be a better bet.

um my head gasket blew up and there was enough white smoke pillowing out the back to cause a small fog

I was gonna put a test pipe on mine when my stock cat clogged cause the distributor failed, but my dad wasnt havin it so I shelled out $200 installed for a high flow (which was cheaper than another oem one)
