Engine swap questions
I am using my old motor and I want to swap the cam from my new motor into it. I didnt install the cam it came with the motor. I have two D16A6 motors one with a cam and bad rings and one stock with good rings. I want to know how to position the motor to TDC without a Dizzy ( I sold it) Is there any easy way? or should I just swap heads? which would be easier?

just position the cam and the crank to tdc by that little marks that u use when your putting on a timing belt. thats hte easiest way. so just make sure the head yoru putting on is lined up too so when u bolt it on, both the head and the crank will be at the same marks

its not that we dont like you, its that you are prolly the only one online at that hour.
anyway, the easiest way would be just to line the marks up on the pulley, like he said.
