Hah!

Check this out:

Look about 12 cars down this list:

http://www.speedventures.net/event_r...esults=OA&s=lt

Look at how many HP the car has...(hint: it's motor's stock)

Then look what cars are under it and how many HP they have.

All the car has is suspension mods.

...and yes, for those that don't know, this is a race that involved turns (Buttonwillow), and they're sorted by fastest to slowest track times.

Damn that Viper raped. Is that a typo under the 2nd place S-2000? It says 340 hp instead of 240 like the one below, or did he actually up the power in that thing?

That's no typo. If you notice it's class rating, it is two classes above the the S right under it that has stock HP.

The Sentra I was referring to is in the lowest class (T10). They're not allowed much more than suspension mods to run.

I believe theya re making a 55kusd S2000 type R with a inline 6 3 liter, all new motor for Honda. its supposed to have 340-370hp can't remeber which number it was... none the less...... impressive

thats like dropping in a modded RB into a S2000 chassis, thats just sick......

they test drove some and its supposed to rape just about everything... from z06 to Porsche.

.

So what all can T5 and T6 do to their car? Some of these people aren't doing very good for being in such a high rank like this guy JJC with the Corvette.

This is from the site:

How and why are cars classed?

The classing mechanisms for the various model-specific Challenge Series vary by Series, and can be found on the series-specific pages (S2000 classing, Corvette classing, Miata classing, WRX classing). For the Overall Series, essentially, the classing is an attempt to level the playing field within a class, putting a competitive group of cars together of which any of them has a chance to win. Stock and modified cars run in classes together, with modified cars being bumped into a higher class than their stock equivalents. For instance, a supercharged Mustang with 400 hp may be bumped into class T5, racing against stock and lightly-modified C5 and Z06 Corvettes.
