what kind of transmission does it have, and aproximate gear ratio of the rear end. My friend's camaro is an 88 with a 350 w/.488 cam and a 700R4 transmission, with 2:92 rear end and it gets around 17-20 MPG

Based upon the lack of information you've provided, It's gonna get between 1 & 20mpg.
