Question 93 hatchback and b18c5... what do I do

i want to my car to be turbo with all the extras (intake, exaust, headers, fuelsystemsupgrades, throttl ebodyupgrade, etc.) but i know i need to work on the engine so it wont blow. what all do i do to it before i drop it in so i can save money on labor (so they wont have to keep pulling it out). also sence it is a r-type do i hve to change the valves, valesprings, retainers, and cam shaft.

You need to do more research, before taking on this project. The first thing you will find is that there is no headers on a four cylinder, just one header, and then there is no header on a turbo, the turbo manifold replaces it. You don't want to use a B18C5 for a boost application. You can but it is more suited for a N/A build up.

If you already have the engine I suggest some low comp pistons because of the C5's high comp. IMHO you bought the wrong motor if you wanted to boost. To boost a Type R is blashphemy. Why don't you just trade me engines then boost?

ok now i see, now i see. i made a big bobo which is fine.no turbo today (or tomarrow) but that leaves more money for good stuff. as far as n.o. how will that work out in this guy after i put alot of stuff on with it. i was thinking of getting all the aim stuff, greddy HEADER (no headers) greddy full exaust, jackson catalytic con., flywheel ,and clutch. all skunk suspention. so how am i looking and what did i forget? p.s. if i get all that do i have to have a ecu?
