stock motor 100 shot

I'm new to these forums and have just purchased a 96 maxima se auto.
Everything is stock and I have a 90-100 dry shot on it now. It runs awesome with it (don't shoot till around 3k on the tach). Just wondering if anyone else has a similar setup and what their experiences are. Thanks

btw- not looking to get bashed for having nos

Hopefully you are using NoS only in last (4th gear) at higher speeds. If you dont you WILL mess up the tranny and might do some damage to the engine.

I start midway through 3rd and haven't had any problems but realize the risk to the tranny. I actually was just at the shop where I fill up the bottle and met two guys that both had maximas doing the same(1 was auto 75-shot, other was stick 100-shot) and they said they've been fine so far. It sucks that sc's and turbo-charging are so expensive! By the way, the mid-90's Mustangs are sure fun to race!

uve probably messed up ure engine already and dont realize it fool, sorry for throwing the fool in there lol, ure stock fuel pump can not keep up with that much nitrous and your running very lean first of all. Ure probably frying piston rings, leaving cracks or deposits on your cylinder walls, freezing the spark plugs and causing them to put out a way less powerfull spark and causing your tranny to overwork causing metal shaving in your tranny pan. nuf said. still gonna run that 75 shot w/o supporting mods?

you need:
-fuel pressure reguator
-hp fuel pump
-tranny cool
-exhaust gas temp gauge
-air to fuel ratio guage
-fuel presure guage
-colder spark plugs

yes good idea and you should LEARN about mods and what they require to be installed before you put them on ur car and mess it up again. if u kno some1 who can work on ur engine you could tear it down and do a rebuild instead of selling it. thoes can be pretty expensive from auto shops. that or jus look around on ebay every now and then there are some maxima engines that dont have lot of miles
