Tamiya Wax doesn't do anything but I think give a protective caoting to the paint. I bought the stuff.

It Doesn't even rub back on the paint.

I think some people here especially Pman does Tamiya rubbing compound THEN Wax.

the compound obviously rubs through the paint.

If you would want mine I'd give it to you for a small trade. I've hardly used it. The only reason I would want to trade is because the thing is expensive for such a small amount.

um....... wax isn't suppose to rub and take paint off its suppsoe to fill so the it shines... and protects....
so tamiya wax is doign what its supoose to do and one bottle can last you for liek 20cars... or more cause you don't use that much..... its not liek rubbing compund....

and yeah there are plenty of wax out there most auto wax will work fine..... but wax for plastic will be better

Wax enhances and protects the shine already achieved with rubbing compound, it is not a replacement for rubbing compound

You can always use a coat of future in place of wax and get a dazzling shine.
