That is a very nice colour.
I wasn't a big fan of the 599 but I had the Revell kit and really liked building it.
I think I might have to get one of the GTO kits and make it a pair.

Very nice paint job.. I would only make it more realistic (closer to real car) by not inserting additional, unnecessary and not correctly positioned badges to the kit. I personally like to get references from real car photos from the great internet sources.

but theres one thing that bothers me.. the engine hood looks like its not closed properly

What a nice color on the GTO! It really suits the car IMO, also the rims are great choice. I see you also had some hard time with the hood as it seems it doesn't fit perfectly - same on mine, shame on you Revell...

Yep on the hood. It is damn near impossible to get thing to sit flat. I have bent mine many times and am kind of sitting on it while it continues to find it's original warped shape. I have a magnet trying to hold it down, but the warped nature is winning.

That is the kit's/Revell's fault though. Again, mad props to you for getting this this looking so good!
