Is a 1992 Firebird a good choice?

Hello!

I am thinking of buying a Firebird Targa 1992, it has about 17,000km (around 10,000 miles if i'm not mistaken).
The price is about $5,000.
I think the earlier firebirds look better but they are also more expensive. The Firebirds from 1993 and newer are pretty ugly in my honest opinion.

Is it a good car? Should I try to find a V8 one instead? I don't know much about cars so I could need some help.

Thank you in advance.

Engine has no balls.......

The other thing is, since this "only" has 10k miles, how often has it been driven.....how is the body? Would think showroom.....

V6 or not, for that kind of miles and only 5k, id be all over it, Thats going to be a very solid start for any kind of project.

I have a 1991 Firebird Convertible with the 3.1L V6 and it has a decent amount of power. I love my car so I think its a good buy. Especially with 10K miles!
