Just wondering, is the base cleaner when the woofers are pointed up? mine are pointed towards me when I open the trunk and the trunk always shakes on the outside when they bump.

Normally, the bass is LOUDER when the subwoofer are pointed backwards but because of this, the trunk will resonate (vibrate) more. This can be fixed by applying a sound dampener such as Dynamat Xtreme. If CLEANER Bass is what you want, aim the subwoofer forward "towards the cab". This usually reduces the vibration in the trunk a lot and provides a little bit more accurate bass, but then again, normally, you will lose some loudness.
