B16 Question Here

If I buy a OBD0 JDM B16A.....and a UNCUT Wire Harness....and my motor includes the ECU tranny....will this just be "Plug and Play".....I need to know A.S.A.P. as I plan on buying these things providing they make the swap easier.

why is this ?....If its the engine, ECU, and Engine Harness and such....shouldnt it just snap in as-if I were to get a whole clip welded on ?

If you have an Si, all you will need to do is use your EXISTING harness and the five wires for the vtec, oil pressure/ground, 2nd 02, and knock sensor and extend those wires into the ecu...
You cannot use the harness that comes with the motor. All you need from that harness are the connections for the pre-mentioned connections.

Let me know if you have any more questions

edit* noticed you have a DX. if you do not have the si engine harness, then you must first convert to MPFI, and then proceed as mentioned above

Yeh like what jNYCe5 said. I took both my si harness and b16 harness and took it to my boy and he did the wiring. The only thing its good for is the connections.
