b16 question!!

Ok when i received my b16 and i was looking at the price tag thingy and this is how it looks...

b16a1

(E) Ok

Now wat does that "E" means? Does mean its a grade "E" engine or what? Please help. Thanks.

Well when u buy the engine they have a tag label with the engine code.

Ask the place you bought the engine from.

Im not aware of a standerdised code used by car wreckers.
But they are known for putting all sorts of crap on engines and parts so they know what its from, and where in the yard/warehouse to keep it.

Iv seen everything from tags on engines, to codes spray painted on the side of complete cars, its all meaningless to everybody but the wreackers.

Yeh i just found out wat that "E" letter stands for ...it stands for emissions.
