Further WMD 'proof'

The US can't go on with it's lies and those that blindly follow and believe there are weapons are simply foold. The only way that the US will find weapons is by planting weapons. Another broken arrow incident could help

Well, as often stated here, Bush and his cronies will do anything to get Iraqi oil, and that includes piling up lie upon lie on the American people. Now those lies are catching up on them. It's time Americans throw the garbage out, before that garbage gets thrown back at them.

Have you nothing better to do than post things that are played out to the point that no one cares anymore? I just wish people would find something new and interesting.

Played out to the point that no one cares anymore? This is supposedly why the US attacked Iraq without provocation, so I certainly care, and so do many English citizens who are demanding proof to back up Blair's lies... I'm not even going to get started on Bush's lies, I don't have a free day to comment.

For the record, because a Canadian speaks out against America, it doesn't make them anti-american. My girlfriend is American, and I spend about 1 week a month in the US. I dislike US foreign and domestic policies, but those are policies of a government controlled by the extremely wealthy. That government is not America, and if I was in fact american, I would be disgusted if I was told it was.

When a crime is committed,do we just sit back and say,"Hey,what he did was wrong, but we've talked about it enough, let's leave it alone now...."?No,of course we don't.

I think that what George Bush did was wrong. The pro-war people who argue that it will 'take time' to find WMD are hoping that the issue will just die without them ever having to admit that George's main justification for invading a foreign nation was and is bogus. No amount of sanctimonious fluffing about mass graves and how evil Saddam was can change that fact.

I agree it was wrong, I just get sick of hearing about it. It seems that it's all we discuss is that.

So we're just going to let it slide that Bush and Blair lied to all of us? That's the kind of thing that doesn't go away very quickly... unless you're a right wing American who hates to admit error...

Sort of like when Bush made the "Fool me twice" speech... I don't think he forgot how it goes, I think he just couldn't bring himself to say "shame on me" :hehehe:

I'm pretty divided on the issue. First off I really don't like Bush. I don't think he is very presidential at all. He went to secondary school in my town and he was a cheerleader. He was basically a bachelor frat boy with no ambition into his thirties and then got into politics largely on connections.
I think a lot of his foreign policy is lousy and I just don't respect the man very much.
On the other hand Iraq is a pretty scary place. The human rights atrocities that happened there are terrible(mass graves, chemical weapon use on kurds etc etc). I think it is awefully arrogant of the US to be a self proclaimed police force for the world, but something should have been done.

The lack of evidence that the US had I think is pretty shabby politics to declare war over.

on the other hand with quotes like this one from a Iraqi weapons declaration I get worried.

"As much as 1,000 tons of VX are unaccounted for, and Iraq has said it cannot account for as much as 2,245 gallons (8,500 liters) of anthrax. "

you simply don't lose 1,000 tons of a deadly nerve agent.

Ok I think I have ranted on long enough

I will just hope that next year John Kerry gets elected and the monkey in the white house doesn't stay to anger the world another four years.

p.s. It is not unpatriotic to question the president, that's a perfectly American thing to do. so please don't attack me for that.

Ah, so you only attack foreigners for criticising Bush?

I'm tempted to apply for dual citizenship, just so I can vote for Kerry.
