coating on wheel?
I have a '98 GTP. I was wondering if the wheels are coated or what? I would like to redo them with various polishing options and put them back on. It seems to me that any exposed aluminum would start to corrode. How do these stay so nice for so long? Thanks.

Yes. It is a form of clear coating. All my GM cars have it.
