Tamiya 350Z

I started this one last night. Painted with hok Tangelo pearl. Looking good so far but the bottom looks like it is going to be a real job to paint neatly.

Re: Tamiya 350Z

I mixed brown, orange and white to make the seat color. I think it will work well. The brakes are done. These have to be the best I ever did at far as being painted clean. Good to know it is like riding a bike after several years of not building. Thanks for the good comments about the color. I normally build race cars so the freedom of choosing colors is a bit new to me.

Next up is the window trim. Always my least favorite part.

Re: Tamiya 350Z

I knew this was going better than it should. I went to put the light backs in and found the shiny chrome tree was missing from the kit.

Re: Tamiya 350Z

NOOOOOOOO! Don't use stock wheels please! A set of Aoshima Blitz, TE-37s, Volk GT-C or GT-V wheels would work wonders on this beautiful car

Re: Tamiya 350Z

Some more work done and almost finished. As for the wheels, for now I am going to leave them stock although I will probably change them out later.
