Ferrari 458 Italia

Finally, after almost 9 months, I am extremely glad to say that this project has been completed (except couple of small details which still have to be add)
It's the Fujimi kit with HD p/e set. I decided to replace the kit wheels with the resin 458 Italia wheels from FG Model. I painted it Rosso Scuderia rather than Corsa, since I think it suits this car better.
Enjoy the pictures
Comments and criticism are as always welcome

Cheers
Emil

Nice clean job! The wheels look great, as does your choice of Rosso Scuderia.

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia

Wow, the shine, the window seals and the wheels are really great!
What paint did you use for the resin rims?

Did you paint the side indicators red on purpose?

I used TS-17 aluminum (through airbrush) for the wheels

Oops... I overlooked the indicators. But frankly they're not worth risking the whole model (if sth goes wrong) at this stage, so I think I'll have to live with it, but thanks for pointing it out - I will definitely remember about it in my future builds

Thanks,
Although I'm not 100% sure, I think I used SMP light gunmetal straight on etched parts, no primer

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia

Looks really good. The paint finish is very well done and the brakes look nice. The ride height looks a little too high to me but an excellent build nonetheless.
