Hatch Release

Anyone know how the hatch release operates? It's the little lever on the floor on the drivers side that you can pull to unlock/open the hatch.

Mine hardly works. I have to give it a good pull and most of the time the hatch will not open/unlock.

I figure it's just a cable that needs tightening? Anyone else have this problem?

yea, its probably kinked so it has stretched or something so it has to be tightened, also try and adjusting the bumpers on your trunk so it sticks out a lil farther so when it is closed you might not have to pull as hard, i've heard that works.........

Sounds good. I'll take the cover off and see if I can tighten it.

Thanks guys.
