child molesters

Two cases in the news today.

Case 1

A repeat offender jailed once for raping his 6 year old sister, and on a later occasion for raping a 23 month old child is released at the end of of a ten year sentence. The corrections department consider him to be an ongoing risk to the community and requested that he be detained for as long as possible. The police are doing all that they can to protect the children in his new neighborhood, and the scumbag himself.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/evening...5a6003,00.html

Case 2

A schoolteacher who repeatedly violated a ten year old boy over the course of a year and made a full confession to police after confiding in friends, pleads guilty in court and is remanded on bail pending sentencing because there were no prison cells available in the locality suitable for custody of the offender!

http://stuff.co.nz/bayofplenty/0,210...8a6014,00.html

Of course, the fact that the scumbag in case 2 was a woman had nothing to do with her bizzarre release on bail.Had the offender been a male,I'm more than willing to bet that they would have found some way of locking him up,and quite rightly so."suitable prison accomodation"wouldn't even come into it.I'd rather see a petty criminal released early if it meant the difference between locking up a scumbag child molester, and letting a pervert walk free.

As for case 1,I wish that the sentence of 'preventive detention' could be applied retrospectively to those violent offenders who are held to be at risk of reoffending at the end of their imposed sentence.Worthless scum like this should be left to rot in jail forever. No doubt next time this creep offends, his sentence will be more enduring, but somebody's baby daughter will have to go through hell before it happens, unless the general public get to him first.I'm not in favour of mob justice, but if the courts had acted properly in this case,it wouldn't be neccesary.

I don't understand why repeat offenders of violent crimes are allowed out. Murderers, rapists, child molesters are the worst of the worst.

Since you mention it Taranaki, I will let you in on something SA doesn't let leak out to the international media.

Due to the ineffectiveness of the South African Police in protecting women and children in low-income areas from rapists and predators who molest and assult the children, it has become common to hear of mob-justice dealing with the perpetrators.
It has got to a stage that once caught, these scumbags are more than happy to hop in the back of the police car since then they are safe from the angry mob that wants to teach them a lesson.
More than one lowlife has met an untimely end at the hands of a mob after a severe beating with anything handy including steel pipes and rocks - heathen maybe, unjust? I don't think so.....

If you don't believe me, I saw it happen first hand myself and was amazed.
Some guys caught this shady character breaking into a car outside their work and started to dole out a sound beating while the receptionist called the police, by the time the police arrived, the perpetrator was more than happy to climb into the police car.
BTW, in South Africa, the criminal doesn't get to press assualt charges either......at least not when I left.

Justice is the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff. We need to identify and deter these creeps before they ruin a child's life.

But that opens up a whole can of worms regarding profiling and its accuracy in predicting offenders. Then to accurately do so, you must take away privacy to monitor possible offenders.

As for protecting the child from the Boogey Man, most molestation happens from the hands of a family member. So how are you going to handle that? Any actions will break up the family unit, and it would be tragic if these accusations are false.

the best way for these offenders to be dealt with (besides death) would be castration or whateve it takes to destroy a sex drive in a person, both make and female and this goes for molesters nad rapist. dont see why not

No, castration would not work. In one of John Douglass' books, he talks about this.

Because rape is a power and dominance crime, this just makes the offender feel less dominant and powerfull, thereby repeating the cycle.

1. Sexual abuse ie.Rape is NOT about SEX. It is about POWER.

2. The simple solution involves a hollow point in the face or a sit in a chair with 2000v flowing through it.

It may deter someone else from committing the crime, but the one that you wish to fry has already committed the offence. The other argument,of course,is that if you start executing criminals, they will go to more violent ends to attempt to evade detection.

That's alright, let the cops shoot to kill. I can honestly say I could shoot them in the head and have a clear conscience.

I despise completely any person who would consider or act upon an intent to molest, violate, or harm any child. As far as Im concerned, if you are a sex offender you should be kept behind bars or shot(either works fine). My cousin is now in jail for molesting his 3 year old daughter. As soon as I heard that I wanted to beat him with my baseball bat and run him over with my car. I dont give a flyin F**k who they are, they do not deserve any treatment but scum-like.
