2005 chevy impala/overheating promblem

2005 CHEVY IMPALA;93,000 MILES;ENGINE TEMPERATURE REGISTERING OVERHEATING AFTER CAR RUNNING FORE A VERY SHORT PEROID OF TIME.CHANGED THERMOSTAT FLUSHED COOLING SYSTEM,CHECKED WATER PUMP. LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE JUST RECENTLY CHANGED LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD GSAKETS. I AM WANDERING IF CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS PARTIALLY CLOGGED? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.HADLEY3119 3400 LITRE ENGINE

When car overheats, turn on blower to vent position, full heat.....is the air hot or cool?

How long have you owned this? Won't be the first time intake gaskets were replaced and the vehicle had a head gasket problem.....
