1995 Radiator Running hot

My radiator is running hot and I cannot tell if I need a thermostat or if I have issues with the coolant fan. Any advice out there. 4 cyl. auto.

fan should come on when its about 3/4 guage, see if it does and a new thermostat is not a bad idea either
