2004 Saturn Ion -Trouble with turning the key to start
Does anybody know the remedy for an ignition problem where the key won't go to the start postiion? Its been plagueing me for a while but is getting worse. I have to turn the key and wiggle the stearing wheel to get it to go. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Re: 2004 Saturn Ion -Trouble with turning the key to start
The tumblers in the lock cylinder are worn, or the key is worn, or both. You can get a new key cut, and spray some Graphite lube into the lock cylinder. Make sure to use a "dry" lube. If it still binds with the new key, the lock cylinder will need replaced and coded.
