02 park avenue
my 02 park avenue was turning over like the battery was real low, but it was fully charged, then it tried to catch, there was a loud pop, smoke under the hood and now it still turns over a little like battery bout dead, but it isn'tdead.

If the battery checks good, more than likely you have loose, or corroded terminals somewhere. Check all terminals for corrosion and tightness.

Agree.....at the battery AND at the starter......it also wouldn't hurt to have a voltmeter across the battery when cranking......key on 12.6 volts.....while cranking, should be in excess of 10 volts.....
